Mellanrummet
Mellanrummet is a Swedish term for the spaces in between. The idea of incorporating this into my portfolio came from photographer Jimmy West who likes to focus on things that most people would consider mundane. I loved the concept and decided to include my own version of Mellanrummet here.

Ugly Beautiful
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This location was a whole fall vibe.

The Farm
Something about the symmetry of this lane against the bold red of the barn always pulls me in. This farm is often worked late into the summer nights, so I love how this scene could be the calm after a long day or the quiet just before one begins.

Spooky season is coming
Saw this creepy guy hanging out in the Haunted Hotel. This will likely be the last year the hotel haunt will be held in this location. The block it occupies is slated for demolition.

The Oil Rig
This rig was perfectly positioned adjacent to a road so I would not have to trespass to get a decent image of it. After a night of rain and a very foggy misty morning which is unusual for this area I made it out to capture this beautifully textured sky as the backdrop.

Dinah Soar - Test Flight
Capturing a balloon directly over the gas station was surreal, as was catching hovering over a very busy intersection in the middle of town.

Bigfoot?
You never know who might encounter in a dark alley.
Old Fort Ponds
Bees & blooms. This is a stocked local fishing spot while also being surrounded by a wildlife protection area.

Old Kiwanis Park
Children's fort or witch's lair? I'll let you be the judge.

Dinosaur Service Station - Jensen, UT
"'Utah's wildest and most scenic section.' Owned and operated by the B.P. Fisher Family. Spend and hour with us. 'See the animals and fossils.'" - from a post card dated June 12, 1952
The service station is gone and the building and dinosaur who stood guard abandoned. Local lore says the dinosaur was fitted out with a box that the service station operator could make growl from within the service station to frighten local children and tourists.
